| We are the first Lymphedema Treatment Center of our kind in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. We have been providers of excellent health care for persons with Primary and Secondary Lymphedema since 1994. Our goal is to teach our patients and family members to assist in home care and to provide educational services and support to the medical community. Lymphedema is a medical condition that warrants treatment. It is not a condition that you just have to live with. There is treatment available! |

| What is Lymphedema? |

| Lymphedema is the swelling of a body part. It is a condition that occurs in the loose connective tissue due to an excessive accumulation of fluid. It can be disfiguring and unsightly. It is a chronic condition which progressively deteriorates the patient's limb(s) and makes them prone to infection, if left untreated. Lymphedema is fairly common.
